Legal Structure
ACTIVEVOICE is an official Social Business Venture recognized under Swiss law. Founded by May D. Gavini,
a business English teacher from Canada, ACTIVEVOICE received its legal status as an association in April 2008.
In December 2008, the Zürich Tax Authorities granted the organization its status of Tax Exemption for its support of
social education initiatives world wide.

Social Business
ACTIVEVOICE offers English language education, primarily professional private English lessons. Through sales of English services, educational fund-raising events and community support by way of donations, investments & volunteer work, ACTIVEVOICE contributes to scholarship programs for girls in developing countries, assists in curriculum development of social educational organizations and supports teachers for humanitarian projects.

Members
Anyone interested in ACTIVEVOICE’s work can become a member. Preconditions for membership is, as a rule, a desire to make a positive social change through education and to promote a conduct of patience, respect and dignity towards others. ACTIVEVOICE League of Champions are persons who are directly involved with business operations or who support its activities through donated expertise, services or supplies.

Global Reach
Based in Zürich Switzerland, ACTIVEVOICE members and supporters are spread out all over the world. The presence of our team and the capital we raise is in so-called first world countries. We work with highly reputable established organizations in the global community that have a solid track-record for delivering
aid to social education programs in countries with dire circumstances.
